I'm getting an iPhone 16e today, replacing my iPhone 7!!!!!!  The iPhone 7 has served me well, but now has a couple of issues.

Right now I have phone that does 5 G and the battery seems fine, so am not going to update.  As soon as it gets wonky it will be toast.

I am not at all one who simply MUST have the lastest and greatest model with all the bells and whistles. I also don't need or want to load my phone up with a ton of apps. That said, when I get the message that current apps I do want are not compatible with my phone, I figure it's time to look around. My phone is probably 4 or 5 years old and I suppose it's time to move on to something newer.

@BunSnoop   I used to replace my iPhone every two years.  But the last one I purchased was the iPhone 13 Pro Max back in 2021.   I'm probably going to order the iPhone 17 in September.

@BunSnoop    I can't wait to get the iPhone 17.  My husband purchased the iPhone 16 Plus in September.   I love the AI feature where you can remove objects from photos.  It's amazing.                                                                                 

Also,  I would never purchase electronics from QVC or HSN.   They sell out dated items at ridiculously high prices prices.   We purchase all our Apple products directly from Apple.

I usually replace our Tracfones about every 3-4 years.  Almost thought to get the new one on HSN yesterday but learned you lose your current minutes, talk, text etc. and it cannot be transferred to the new phone.  WOW.  They do not tell you that in the presentations!  I will stick to my refilling method and wait to buy WITHOUT unlimited options.  I still have a landline and use my laptop so I really do not need unlimited anyway.
