Hotmail and spellcheck

Noticed the past few days that my spellcheck on hotmail seems to be underscoring the ending of some words. Like the ing in doing and partial words. These words are not spelled wrong. And if a word is spelled wrong I right click and open and when I click on the right word is just puts a double letter for the beginning of the word. Like sspelling. The only thing I did was update firefox but didn't think that would have any effect on hotmail. Turned the computer off at night and it was fine. Open it the next day and it was changed. Anyone else have this problem with firefox 17?
