That TSV on HSN looks great! I think I want it. FUJIFILM #338-723
Yikes! $269 and Free S&H!
I haven't bought a camera in 20 years, but this looks like a good deal to me.
Is it?
I need to hurry up! The white is almost sold out.

Please someone answer this post. I was about to buy it. However I saw the word "battery," and was wondering if such an advanced camera that looks wow would use BATTERIES instead of rechargeable lithium which I have always found convenient and cost effective. It gets 300 shots on the BATTERIES and I can take over that in an evening. For my purposes, I am not sure.
Anyone have some ideas about this before I blow that much money only to have to walk around with batteries.
Perhaps I am overreacting but I was so excited to see it and now I am very unsettled as to what to do.
P.S as for me no shipping and NO TAX where I live.

@ bonnielu - I'm CRAWLING the walls right now. I've been shopping for a camera since LAST summer. I've read numerous reviews and the battery life is always a problem. They're not addressing the battery issue at all on the program.

I am so on the edge. I want it sooo badly. It looks great and I take thousands of pictures, no fooling. I want all it has to offer but in the 21st century... batteries??? Or am I over reacting. Please, I hope someone with some information answers this. I know it is 300 shots, they said so in the specs. I will need a suitcase to carry them all on vacation or going to my square dance and ballroom events. I am only 5 feet tall I can see it now, ole bonnie, draggin' along a bag of batteries bigger than her.

I'm still "thinking" about it. My situation is different from yours. You said you take "thousands" of pictures. I hardly take any, so this was a "splurge". I've been wanting to download videos to you-tube; I've been wanting to use some other camera besides my IPAD; I've been wanting to take more video. But, will I actually do it because I bought a new camera? I dunno .... maybe/maybe not. So, I'm still on the fence ... because I really don't take a lot of pictures. I want to, but I don't. (Perhaps, if I had good camera I would .. ?) However, if I were in your situation, absolutely YES, I'd get the camera! Because you take a lot of pictures. The camera IS fantastic. If you have to carry around batteries, so what. Considering all the automatic features, that's no big deal. JMHO.

You might have convinced me. I tried to call Fuji a few minutes ago but they are not in today. My luck.
I am a gadget nut. But I am slowing up since I am seeing it as wasteful. But I need this camera for what I need to do. Batteries... geez, gotta get over it.
