Help with Iphone and Cloud storage needed!!

My iPhone is out of storage (only an 8gb) and I purchased an additional Cloud storage plan. Now I have 10gb left of "Cloud" storage, but for some reason, my phone won't let me take photos saying the storage is full. I forced a backup to the clue and backup was successful. But my phone still says that I only have 100MB of storage led and won't let me take any photos. Any advice?
