You can only optimize a tablets for so long. I have had a few Samsung Galaxy tablets over the years.
I brought an S5e last year. Samsung has a new S6 Lite. The 64GB model will have 4GB of RAM, and the 128 model will have 6GB. The 6GB device handles memory very well. You may not have to clear RAM all the time.
I usually buy on Amazon in November or December. There usually is a sale.
Amazon has excellent reviews.
Please call to your ISP about replacing your internet hardware when you can. They are many families working from home, and their children doing distance learning. This puts a strain on the web. Meaning decreased speeds.

Have to wonder if a virus hit you ? I know my old Dell had a virus. I took it to Best Buy and they fixed it for me.
