I bought the Dell TSV, but it has no security program. I thought that was odd, but I liked the bundle so ordered it.
I have not opened it, but am ready to set it up. Since it has no protection, can anyone suggest the best?
I have tried Norton and wouldn't pay a dime for that. I have used McAfee, and one other one (can't recall what it was).
I need a GOOD program. I have been hacked twice on my current computer.
Thanks for any help.

We recently upgraded one computer and bought a new one and everyone, including a firm specializing in computer security, recommended ESET.

I have used AVG Anti-Virus the free program.

I use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. You should use the paid verison. It runs in real time. You get a 30 day trial. https://www.malwarebytes.org/

The TSV Dell has no security, not even a trial. When I was watching the presentation someone called in and asked if it had securty. The guy and Rick both said, "No" but you can buy a security package from QVC. and they gave the product number. At the time I wanted to check out other companies since Norton and Mcafee are both weak.
Thanks,

If it has Windows 10, it has Windows Defender.

I've also had Kaspersky, and in the five years I've had it, never had a problem. I bought the Dell TSV about a month ago, and installed Kaspersky on that one as well.

I had a Windows 8 computer and it had Microsoft's security software pre-installed called Defender. I don't if 10 has it or how good it is.
I stopped paying for security software for the last 10+ years I had a Windows computer. The free versions do a fine job but nothing is automatic. I bought the full version of Malewarebytes when it was $25 lifetime fee and it is so good, I'd get it for the yearly fee if I was still using a Windows computer.

I too have Kaspersky, I got it for free when I bought my computer about 5 years ago. I always renew it and haven't had any trouble with it.
