Better to get the computer though the companies rather then QVC. Believe me that is a nightmare you do not need.

At least you can return it. My niece got one last year from QVC for Christmas and I think it got damaged during the shipment. She had a cracked crystal that did not show up until after the return period. It cost her a little over $300 to get it repaired.

Was it within the warranty period? QVC doesn't have anything to do with warranty repairs.

TIP: Get the warranty directly from the manufacturer.
Always check to determine if their customer service is US BASED.
HINT: Apple's tech support is home based in Texas.
