Help, I deleted Google Crome to go back to just Google

I had just google. It was also my homepage.  Then, when we had our computer worked on a couple of weeks ago, I had them install google chrome.  I decided I didn't like chrome and uninstalled it  a few minutes ago. Now I have no google app....it has disappeared.  Where is my google? How do I get it back as  both my search engine and homepage?

Just go to internet explorer and search for google and then download to your computer. You have to have google chrome to have google apps. Hope that helps - good luck!

@jubilant  Even if you don't like using Chrome as your browser (I actually like it best), you can still keep it on your computer for searches and just use Explorer for the ofher stuff.  I have Explorer, Chrome, and Firefox all on both my home and work computers.  Occasionally there are situations where one works better than another, so it's nice to have options!

I use Chrome as my default browser, but also have Safari and Firefox as well as another browser on my iPad. There are times you need more than one choice. Some web pages just don't function properly with all browsers. You need more than one browser to tell you if a problem you might be having is the website you're trying to reach, the browser, your wifi, etc.

I've lost track of how many times I have to resort to a different browser because QVC's IT dept is continuously messing up the site programming.
