Having printing problems??

I have an old Hpdeskjet5150 which was working except for being slow.

Now it seems i cannot print at all.

When i click print i get a PDF page which does not have a link to print what i want done.

Am not sure what PDFis?

My printer did work up until i think yesterday.

So frustrating has i have had so many issues with my new computer.

Maybe someone can help me with this?

Have a desk top new Hp pavilion model.

Windows 7 explorer.
