Have several years old MAC desktop - Have a very basic question

I am almost embarrassed to ask this question. I am not computer smart at all, so I will ask it any way!

How do you use your e-mail account on a different computer? Say, for instance, my e-mail account at home and I want to check my e-mail at a friend's house --- how do I do that?

it's probably very simple but I have no idea how to do it. Thanks!

go to your email providers home page for example gmail.com or yahoo.com

or if you get or email from your cable co. their page which would be cableco.com then find the page to check your mail and login with your password

Thanks, jackthebear!

I found the page and I think I can do it; it seems easy enough!

of course you can! {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

just don't leave your log in info on someone else's computer! as in if it asks you to remember your user and password,

I tried it and it worked! Thanks so much!
