Thinking about ordering the TS on HSN (3/13). My old printer died recently ... I need a new one... quick (tax season approaches).
Your thoughts and comments on this, please. Thanks!
Edit: Is there a different, smaller one you would recommend ... I'd love to hear about it.

I ordered it. I have an HP Officejet 6600 and like it very much.
However, I can't get the ink deal with that one, so I'm getting the TS. It's $99.95, free shipping and to get new cartridges for the 6600 is more than that! The TS also prints duplex.
Printers are getting to be like my tracfone - it's cheaper to replace and get the great minute deals.
We all have our own criteria for what's most important to us in a printer.

I agree with Seehorse. The ink cartridges for my HP printer is almost the exact cost of a new printer, so I have been going that route for the last few years. I have at least 3 printers in the basement that are gone simply because they ran out of ink!! Sad but true.

Thanks for the replies, John, Seehorse, and SuzieQ. My husband has a Canon i900D, but the cost of ink is outrageous. I just want a simple printer for documents like tax forms and such. My old printer was just fine for these type of tasks ... cartridges for it was also getting too high.
I think I'll just try the HP ...

SoX, I will say that the cost of that today's special ($99) is a very good price for what all that printer will do! Let us know how you like it when you get it set up and going!!

I have been on the phone with HP tech support trying to get my old printer to print. The tech was on my computer, viewed the printer, and told me to grab it because HP could not touch that price.

I use an HP Laserjet professional 1102w (older model) $99... and we are thrilled. We have two now... it does EVERYTHING we need it to do, including printing through wifi... enjoy yours!

Why not donate? I'm sure there is someone who could use an almost new printer. It's a lot better than having them gather dust in your basement.
