HP Laptop????

I got an advert from the HP website - background - I just purchased the last TSV HP Laptop 17" for $1,000...more computer than I needed - but it is sooo hard to decide.

So I get this advertisement and it is for a $499 HP 6 series (the TSV was a 7 series) - I put in 4GB ram (as opposed to the 6GB in the TSV), 500 GB HD, 15.6" screen (which I prefer) and left off the Beats audio and the price = $499.00!

It had been awhile since I ordered a computer from anywhere else but QVC. The quality of this machine directly from HP was noticeable - much better built, more solid - since I have had the TSV 17" I keep thinking if I breath on it, it will break......I still think items that QVC gets are "seconds" that is how they can drop the price...anybody else think the same?

Of course if this post gets posted I will be amazed.
