About every second or third time I turn on my computer I get the message that my antivirus is turned off. Any idea why this is happening and how do I turn it back on? I'm almost ready to go back to McAfee. Also, when I check for microsoft updates it's telling me to turn on active Xcontrol.?
Thanks!
Edit to add: The little green box with white check mark down in right corner says my PC is protected. But there is also a little red shield with an x that says windows security alert. I have it set for automatic updates every day at 10 a.m. I have Windows XP.
