Glb613 and Gidget - I GOT IT!

Glb613 and Gidget,

After all our discussions, I made up my mind and went out and purchased the new Apple Ipad in Black with 16G and 4G and Apple Care. Unfortunately, they didn't have time to set it up completely, so I am going back tomorrow. I managed on my own, to connect to WIFI, and even sent some messages and received some. I tried setting up Skype and ICloud, but somehow it did not work. Actually I got into Skype, because I have it on my computer, but the Icon did not come up on the ipad. Is FaceTime the same thing???

What is Genius and Safari? When I went into them, nothing came up. I think I am having password issues. Have to straighten this out tomorrow.

Can I print from my ipad to my printer if I have "eprint" and a wireless printer?

I am definitely going to take some workshop classes at Apple. Also, have to download a tutorial, if it is free and not to expensive. Then I must get a case. All this is on my to do list.

I really don't know what apps. are free and what you have to pay for.

I'll have to check out the Ipad tips you guys were nice enough to place on the "Q".

I am sorry I am rambling on but this is so exciting. Thank you both for putting up with me and hopefully helping me along the way. .
