Never heard of Gigaset brand before. And QVC is selling a two pack are they any good?

While not an iPad or Kindle HD the Gigaset seems to have decent ratings for an inexpensive tablet per the posts I've read on Google.

There are some reviews on this item that are pretty favorable.  I think this TSV is similar to the LePan tablet sold in August. I have the LePan and it serves my needs.

This TSV is a great price but I really don't need two.

Just doing some googling, these have been sold in the UK for a year, where "Gigaset" (Siemens) is known. They get generally good reviews - *for what they are.*

Compared to higher-end, more mainstream/expensive tablets, the screen quality is meh, but adequate. The processor is okay as long as you don't push it past its "internet basics" capabilities. The battery life seems to be good. It uses an SD card, which is a plus. It has a 5MP camera.

Price-wise it's a good deal. In the UK on Amazon, one without a case is selling for equivalent $136.

It would be a great buy for multiple children in a family. It's probably best for children based on the specs; most adults and teens would be disappointed with what it isn't compared to better tablets. But as a Xmas gift for pre-teens, a good bargain.

I agree for teens this tablet is good enough. I don't think kids should have expensive tablets or phones and the fact that QVC is including cases....and some protection insurance, 2 chargers are worth this price. I think it is a good deal for what it is too.

Re: Gigaset 2-Pack 8" Android WiFi QuadCore Tablet

Love, Love, Love this tablet!  I love gadgets, so I have an I-Pad mini, Kindle Fire HD, Kindle Fire HDX, 7 inch RCA tablet and a Click-it tablet for my grandson.  The Gigaset Tablet is by far the best out of all of them.  After using it , I no longer want to use any of the other ones, so I am very disappointed that I missed this TVS.  I've looked on QVC but they are completely sold out, just hope I can catch it the next time it is on.  Still using the one I bought last year from QVC, but I need more for gifts.  Don't hesitate to buy the Gigaset tablets, you will not be disappointed!
