nutmeg: You can't use those phones on Tracfone. Also, there's absolutely no problem sending pictures on that phone or on Tracfone.

Texts containing photos are considered multimedia texts and will use both your text and data allotments. If you have a data plan with only perhaps 300 MB data, sending high pixel photos could burn through that amount of data very quickly. You may need to buy more data. Does your tracphone show your remaining data?
