It is a malware scanner. It catches items your ant-virus can miss. You use MWB  with ant-virus protection.

So i just unistalled Bitdenfender and went to windows and turned on the windows defender. Is that correct? Sorry i don't understand computers that well,

Please do a Google search "How to check whether windows defender is running"?

Another search "How to turn windows defender  on and off"?

Yes, that is correct. In the process of turning Defender on, you should have seen this screen to toggle the Defender to the "ON" position.

Yes i found that on the screen and turned everything on and ran the scanner. Thanks to everyone for your help.
