@qbetzforreal, just curious when did you order your case? I ordered mine 12/31 and still haven't received it yet. I would have been just as happy with a case in a solid color from Amazon then this custom made case from Germany.

Caseable acknowldged my order December 13- today is Feb 3 and I still do not have it. I got a happy little 'your order has left the building' a few weeks ago, and a couple days ago sent (another) email to Caseable asking how they shipped as I didn't receive it, and they don't even know how they ship! What a dreadful company. I even ordered a style I saw on their site I thought that could ship quicker than custom. So pretty soon, in 1 week, it will be 60 days since they acknowledged my order. QVC should have checked them more thoroughly as its a pretty sure bet a $100 tablet in December is going to be popular. In today's marketplace timely is days, not weeks and certainly not months! Now QVC has alot of angry customers. I would have been very, very angry had this been a gift.

Jordan2- I didn't order one. I got curious after reading the compliants here and FB, so "googled" the company and found out the information. That's something the Q should have been upfront about.

So after waiting 6 weeks for my case I finally received it yesterday. It was so not worth the wait, I am very disappointed. The case supposedly came from Germany. The case is very flimsy, the art work is like contact paper put onto the front of the case. It is worth what it is, free, I would never have purchased this for any amount of money. I will be heading over to Amazon to buy a better case. This was a real miss!

Since I hate the case I got from Caseable, I'm in the market for one. Looking online I'm confused by what to but. I usually buy Amazon's own brand, but have read reviews that many don't like the one for this Kindle. There are several other brands and types ( even one with a detachable keyboard) so I don't know which one to get. Any advice would be appreciated.

I brought a Moko brand case for the Fire. I like another case called Finite.

@Nuttmeg, I did see those brands and will check them out again. I saw a case that had notches so you can use the case hands free in the position you want. I was looking at the case with the keyboard but don't know if it is necessary. Some of the cases aren't very expensive, but I wonder how the quality is. As I said I have always bought Amazon's own brand, but the reviews for the new cases weren't favorable.

I was just wondering, thoughts of those of you that got the "free" case? I think it's very flimsy, not worth the wait, nor would I be happy if I actually had to pay for the case. I am looking into purchasing a case from Amazon.

I'm really hoping this post gets some traffic because I could use some opinions. I HATE the "free" case that I finally received for my tablet. I have narrowed down my choices for a new case (Amazon) to one with a detachable keyboard and one without. The one with the keyboard is about $20 more than the one without. I would gladly spend the extra cash, but I was wondering if a keyboard is really necessary? I have an iPad Air, Amazon Fire 8" and 7", that I don't have keyboards for.
