Flash drive --help needed

As I clean out drawers I have found a huge collection of flash drives that I received at trade shows through out the years.

I used to know how do delete and reformat the drives so they could be re-used/recycled....I am not doing something right. I can not use the flash drive because of a 'lock' when I go to save something to the drive.

Help please.
