Firefox, Comcast or HP Problem?

I have an HP Pavilion dv7 laptop and the 24.0 version of Firefox on my Windows 7. This issue recently started. When I go into a Comcast email I cannot advance to a next message by clicking the arrow nor can I delete the email when the message is open. I have to go back to the email listings in order to delete or go into the next unread email.

I would appreciate any assistance.
