As long as you continue opening up those emails up and reading them, you will continue getting them.   That's how spam works.   You have shown you are interested in that stuff.  Delete and block and as long as no one is visiting certain sites, you will stop getting that stuff.

@chrystaltree  I do understand how spam works!  I never open spam, the photo automatically popped up...OPEN on my phone in Mesages.

I have blocked the number, the number continues to change.  Luckily I have not had any additional texts in two days.

I did a screen shot of the last text number and I will call my cell provider to get their opinion.  I tried calling them yesterday but as usual, high call volume, not enough peope to take the calls.

@Mom2Dogs  I got a few of those and agree they are awful.  I know there is a way to turn off notifications so you won't have a message preview pop up on your iphone (Settings, Notifications, then towards the bottom under Show Preview - turn to Never).  I am trying to figure out how to hide text previews from the Messages app.

@Mj12   Thanks....My cell phone provider explained how to forward the text messages so they can be investigated.  But again, they just continue to change their number.  I did notice a link on one message is was to facebook!!
