Facebook logs me in automatically If I click on an email to view a post. I dont have to enter password. Can I prohibit this on settings?

I think you have to go into the Facebook settings and delete QVC from the unauthorized Apps/Sites section. I haven't linked my Facebook account to QVC, so I can't test this out.

Let me  clarify my op, it happens in my private email acct. I get an email notifying that a friend posted something on FB and I am then automatically logged in to FB afterclicking link. (Nothing to do with Q). If someone hacks in my email, they can get into FB. I know its better to go to FB than click on links. But I am just wondering if others know about this.

On the login screen there's a box that says "Keep me logged in."  If you check that, even if you've logged out the email links will take you back into your account.

I believe it's a function of browser cookies, so if you delete cookies, cache, etc., close the browser and relaunch this won't happen with future email messages as long as you don't check the "keep me logged in" box.

That's been my experience, anyway.  Facebook can be a great mystery, and it changes from one day to the next.

eta:  After trial-and-error, it happens even if you don't check the box...  it appears to be the browser cookies, so you'll have to delete those regularly if you don't want the email links to take you directly into your Facebook account.
