Wow, I had no idea.  That is crazy.   Like others, I prefer the iPhone FB app but will try using only the iPad version for a while. Thanks.

It could be what the app defaults to.  Like on my desktop, I can tell Facebook to default to Most Recent posts instead of Top Stories.  I'm on Android, not iphone, but on my phone, every time I bring up Facebook I have to find where they have hidden Most Recent to see that.  It defaults to Top Stories and who knows how they determine what that is, but for me it's generally a bunch of old posts.  I rarely use FB on my tablet except when I'm out of town, so I can't even remember what's different about it or how it compares to my phone
