I have FB on my iPad and iPhone.   Why are they totally different?  I'll get posts on one but not the other.   My niece just posted something and I got it on my phone but not the iPad.

I know the apps are different in development but the content should be the same.  Right?  Wrong?

You will possibly get better answers to you ask a mod to move this post to electronics forum.  Very knowledgeable ladies there.

FB is completely different on my iphone than it is on my computer as well.  I much prefer it on my phone. I am a huge Facebook junkie but wish they would stop screwing with it.  Their updates are not necessarily UPGRADES.  They are awful.

Same thing for me. I also wish they would leave it alone. I have no idea why mine are different but they are.

I prefer FB on my desktop where I can see all of the option icons instead of lines and dots like I have on my phone.

I think what happens is when you've viewed a post on one device, social media sites like Facebook will then assume you don't want to see it again and hide it on another device since you've already seen it on the first device. If you go to the person's home page you can generally find it again.
