Estimated deliver date question

recently placed an order and it was placed on the 12th and luckily has already shipped out today, but the estimated delivery date is for the 22nd of march which is crazy to think it will take that long because it already shipped. anyone have any experience or knowledge of whethere it actually takes that long or is that just a long estimate to make sure they cover themselves
