I bought the echo Input to connect to a Bose wave radio purchased years ago. It is in my bedroom. Today, I noticed for the first time in the 3 weeks I have been using it, while music was playing on it, I went to send a message to a friend from my iPhone, and the music stopped. I continue to complete the message on my iPhone, and I hear..... click, click, click coming from my Bose with every key stoke being made on the iPhone!!! Anyone notice this?? Any possible privacy being imposed on?? Really concerned!! MJ

No little about the Echo, and zip about anything that starts with an "i". Privacy? There is no such thing anymore for anyone that uses a Smart Anything.
It's been proven many times over that any smart phone has a code that has to be put in, or there every move, every use is being recorded in 1 fashion or another, whether you phone is in the ON or OFF position.
Ah! Ain't the advancement of technology great?

I suspect your phone paired with either the Bose or Echo using Bluetooth. Unpairing it should solve the issue.
