Dyson Canister Problem?

I was just vacuuming and the large head attachment was working and I could hear the motor running, but then all of a sudden the brush head stopped rotating. I tried several times to turn off and on and it keeps stopping. Can anyone tell me what I should do?

The power stays on, but the brush head stops rotating. I can't find my paper work for it so I am asking if anyone has had this problem and what I can do.
