If I'm sitting at a desk with a flat surface I use the mouse.  Otherwise, like now, I use the touch pad.

My Doctor used a laptop and she had the mouse adjusted where she coud use it on the small space on the laptop top!

It's been years since I've used a mouse.  I have a MacBook Air and I just use the touch pad,  It's very easy to use once you get used to it and it becomes second nature.

Add me to the list of people who need a mouse.  It isn't worth the frustration not to use it.

A question for those that just use the touchpad--do you have a cat or cats?

Cats, at least mine, are incompatible with touchpads.

My laptop doubles as a touchscreen. I rarely use the touchscreen option and always use a mouse. It's much easier and faster to navigate this way.

I prefer a mouse....simply because that's what I'm used to using. It is sort of like a security blanket too....something to hold on to while I work. I know that sounds weird. Ha!
