I know what you mean about loving your desktop. I have been using one for 15 years. It still works great but can't update to Win 11. It has i5 with 3.7 ghZ processor.

I just bought a HP All-In-One with a large 27" screen. No problem seeing it. LOL!!! It has a long narrow wireless keyboard. The mouse is longer & flatter. Fits my hand better.

DH was going to buy a laptop but after seeing & using mine he bought one just like mine. 

DH always uses a mouse with his laptop. I use one if I use a laptop.

@Regal Bee.  2hen I had a laptop I always used the mouse.  However, about 10 years ago, I started using tablets and have never looked back.   So much easier to handle if you're not at a desk, which I'm not.  Find me kicked back in my recliner.

@Regal Bee  A wireless mini mouse is a necessity for me using my laptop!  I even have a small mouse pad to use with it.  Couldn't be without it.  

My sister has a laptop but doesn't have a mouse or a touch screen.  Once in a while, I have to go to her house to help her do something on her laptop that she doesn't know how to do.  I absolutely hate using her computer.  It takes forever and a day to navigate with it. 

 Last time I went there, my son told me to take my wireless mouse and the tiny wireless dongle, as told to me by my son (the little thingy that comes with the wireless mouse that you put in the port of the laptop.)  I could then use my wireless mouse and put the little dongle thingy into the port and.... BINGO!  Easy as ever to navigate and move around on her laptop!
