When i purchase an item from a shopping network such as QVC, I expect them to thoroughly check the company they are buying goods from. I expect that even though QVC is not the manufacturer of the goods being sold, they are putting their stamp of approval on each item. I expect the item i have just spend several hundred dollars on will be worth the price. If it is not, i expect, given that the product has been endorced by QVC, that I will be able to return it for a refund or replacement exactly as advertised.

I purchased the

SuperNova DLX 8" Color WiFi Android Tablet with App Bundle by Pandigital

It was cheap yet functional, so I used it as an ereader - it broke in a few months (could not plug in the charger to recharge it) - i returned it for a replacement (too late for a refund). I was told by Pandigital I would recieve a new tablet in 3 weeks. 3 MONTHS later and several email exchanges later I still have no replacement. I did finally recieve a letter stating that Pandigital is in Chapter 7 and I now know its unlikely I will ever be compensated for this purchase.

Yes, i realise the fault here is Pandigital's and QVC owe me nothing. Having said that, I am dissappointed QVC put their name behind a shoddy product and a company that went out of business soon after.

Will I ever buy an expensive electronic item from QVC again? Not a chance. I now don't trust their judgement. Sorry.
