Disk Defragment Question

This may seem like a silly question but I'm asking anyway. I have my computer scheduled to do a Disk Defragment every week at 1:00 AM but my computer is always turned off at that time. Will it still run if the computer is turned off and should I change the time? Thanks in advance for your answers.
