Tracfone now has internet service!..It's powered by Verizon who now owns Tracfone..Would you change to it?

I love my Tracfone but I wouldn't do internet with them.

I'm happy with Xfinity internet. Not going to change now. I've had a Tracfone flip-phone forever but I don't need their internet.

I have looked at Verizon internet (from Verizon) since I no cable wiring up here.  Seems to be broadcast from a cell tower and my existing cell signal isn't that great.  So I went with Starlink.

I renewed my yearly air time  and i also saw that they had a internet service 

one of my neighbors  that is a high school teacher has"Verizon Cube"  for his internet   cell phones,etc  and loves it.

I just changed from AT&T 's" newest equipment"  as I didn't like it  and  it cost too much money!

So, i switched to my local cable co. in my town  for internet  and landline phone and now it is under $48.00 per month..plus wifi  and eero .

After i paid for Tracfone  another year fee for $49.00  plus 10.00 for more data...

my tracfone app on my moto g stylis  g5 changed to tracfone Paygo for Android..and i dislike it it doesn't show  the expire year date!

there is a place to change plan   that i can click...but i didn't click on it

It wants me to refill my plan by March 5th and to pay now  $49.00......i already paid on thier website!

however it does show my   remaining

min.i have

also texts

plus data

and can click to get plan details

I want my old tracfone info back instead of this new download! I tried uninstalling it  and redownloading it  and its still there!

Please  any suggestions  to get my old TracFone page back  instead Tracfone pay for android showing??

I want nothing whatsoever to do with Verizon.  They were a nightmare for my sister until she got rid of them so she could get adequate internet service.

I called Tracfone,

and was told they are updating equipment  and  tomorrow Friday everything should be back to normal on its app on my Moto g5 stylis  soon and not show it as TracFone Paygo for Android!

Reason it was showing  that i needed to pay  was because i extended my years time early  as its wasn't due until in July...and was placed in "reserve".

She took care of that to show  thad i had  paid  for another year of air time plus data and now  good through   July, 2027.

I access the internet a lot on my Tracfone.  I have my wifi connection at home and when I'm out and about I turn on my mobile data.

No problems.

Good to know mine comes due in July..I do it with them on the 800 phone #..I didn't know you could just buy a year of airtime..I don't need any more talk time ot texts...I don't have Wi-Fi.

Good luck with your new phone..I'll keep my older Samsung..I'm too dumb to start with something new..LOL
