We have been having trouble with our recorded shows disappearing from our playlist - not all of them. We have to go into Manaage Recordings to find them but they are arranged individually by date recorded. In other words, if we have recorded multiples of a particular show, they are not all listed together. It takes forever to find the oldest show to watch first (of a series) and using the remote is soooooo slow. Anyone else having this issue?
We are also having recorded shows deleted because of "Software Updates - code 13" whatever that is. Also the volume of the shows is lower. It's not our TV as it is happening on both TV's which are newer TV. When we called Direct, we were told they were switching to new software, but this has gone on for about 6 weeks now. Would appreciate some feeback and suggestions. Thank you.

@WORKING GAL yes have the same problem. It seems everytime they change the guide then the auto recorded shows have issues. Took me sometime to re record the shows then about 3 days ago here we go again with another new guide. So far with this new guide I am getting auto recorded shows but I better go check incase a few are missing.

I have the latest Genie 2 system in my house and haven't had any problems with recording. I wonder if the problems might be a regional thing? I'm in Colorado.

Our issue started with the last upgrade.
All shows of the same title are in one “folder..”
The first click of the “select” button separates them, and they appear underneath the “main folder.” (ie: Isaac Mizrahi shows in one folder, then the individual “episodes” show up underneath that.
This may not be your issue, but thought I would mention it.”

Had the same thing happen. Then a few days later they reappeared. Seems like they are always changing something!
