Customer Service - Corel Software

I know QVC adds Corel software to some of it products. I think the last TSV printer included it. I just wanted to say I upgraded my Paint Shop Pro x2 to X6 because my new Windows 8 did not want to accept it. Well I had an issue finding my frame files or any files for that matter. They appeared when I needed them but I could not find them myself. I wrote Corel and told them of my issue. Well it did not even take a day until I was contacted by a Tech named Mariella who set up an appointment then accessed my computer remotely... no charge and not only found the files but send me an entire page email answering all my questions. I not only saw what she was doing I had a written explanation with help links. (Windows 8 apparently likes to hide some things)

I am still rather speechless as to the customer CARE I got and just wanted to share. I like to tell about good things and this is certainly one of them.

Re: Customer Service - Corel Software

Wow! I like dealing with companies that provide a good level of customer support. I've stopped doing business with many because of the lack of it. My time and money are to precious to me. While I don't use the application you mentioned, I am glad that they were there to help you. Maybe you should think of writing them a letter to tell about your experience. So often, companies only receive messages when things go wrong. Always nice to hear when things go right.

Re: Customer Service - Corel Software

They sent me a long survey and I filled it out immediately. I will write a separate letter, good idea. It felt like the good ole days when merchants cared about their customers and sincerely tried to help. There are other companies out there and I try my best to deal with them. I find Amazon helpful. And I like mom and pop stores (we live in a rural area). Even our chain stores are on the small side and deal in a warm friendly manner. I think "customer care" goes a long way to building trust and return customers even if the prices might be a tad bit higher. I guess what I am trying to say is... if they see me coming and treat me right and help me with my needs I will return full steam and remain.
