Cursor Moving

Lately when I type a long email I notice that my cursor moves and then I can't type anything. If I go to a new paragraph it does the same thing. I've had to keep going in one long paragraph and then move the cursor to where I want to paragraph and double space it. It's like my cursor isn't locked in but this only happens on a long email.

I tried the email with a mouse and without a mouse and it does the same thing. I'm on Vista with Firefox 17. Sometimes since upgrading my font will change in an email even though I have it locked to the same size.

Any suggestions on the cursor problem?
