I keep getting a message about IE modifying the page I'm on to prevent cross-site scripting. This just started happening about a week ago (or less). So far, I just seem to be getting this message when viewing items on either QVC or on HSN. I know I could just disable the XSS filter (I think that's what you call it), but I'm not sure if that's a wise thing to do. What would any of you out there suggest? Just leave my settings alone and ignore the message when it pops up, or go ahead and disable the filter when visiting these sites and then enable it when I'm off from them? By the way, in case you need this info, I get this message on both of my computers--one has Windows XP and the other has Windows 7. Both have IE8. Also, there were a lot of Windows updates installed recently on both computers. Could these updates have anything to do with me now getting these messages? Thanks for anyone's advice on this.
