We left Verizon at least 6 years ago. Save alot of money and don't notice any difference. In fact I would lose service on my drive home from work in a certain spot with Verizon. Never lost service with Consumer Cellular.

I dropped Consumer Cellular when they switched my plan without telling me.  I now have an AT&T Go Plan where I pay $25 every 3 months.  I'm charged 25 cents per minute and can text which I rarely do.  I do not have a smartphone since I see no need for one.

Yes, I have it for quite a few years with no problems and a $20 phone bill.  Go for it.  You will be very pleased.   I purchased an Apple phone thru Consumer Cell discounted.

Have it, love it.  We left Verizon and their high bills for CC several years ago.  We saw no diffrence in service at all. They are VERY nice to deal with and are in Washington state.  We have 2 lines and its $54 a month, unlimited everything.

Someone mentioned they were bumped up to the next price plan.  Actually, that is a plus. When you have an overage on your phones for service, they bump you up to the next plan with a flat rate for the higher plan.  This is a big savings from other carriers ie Verizon.  CC only charges you for the higher up plan, I believe its prorated also, where as an overage on any of the major carriers could add up to hundreds of dollars in additional charges as they charge you per minute!  Once you pay your bill, CC will switch you back to your original plan if you wish.  They clearly state this when you sign up.  They are wonderful to deal with and very accomadating!

I had it when they used to have their $9.95 monthly service plan. I had a flip phone with that but then they raised the price and wanted me to upgrade my phone to a smart phone which I physically cannot hold in my hands. So I switched to Tracfone, with their flip phone and a yearly service plan for less than $70. Never been happier.

Have had Tracfone from the time I first heard of them, many, many years ago. My most recent phone, yes a smart phone, for $59.99 delivered? 1500/1500/365 days, which is less that $5 per month?

If I'd of had problems with their services, I would have dropped them years ago. A friend of mine has CC, and lives in another state. When he call my land line we agree to talk until his line drops. Longest yet? 18 minutes.

I agree with everything @meem120  stated.  We've had CC for several years now after being ripped off by Verizon for a long time.  We are happy with it and have not had any issues at all.
