Today my iPad is stuck on yesterday's update.
When I try to access email, I see the "Updated Yesterday" message. The very bottom of the column says Account Error-- details( this word is in blue ). When I touch the details word, I get:
cannot Get mail
Connection to server failed
yet I can access this website, news, etc.
Never happened before. iPad has latest update and uses Safari. Any help would be appreciate

Have you tried re-booting? (Turning it off and back on). That fixes a lot of oddball things on my iPad.

Hold the home button and power button at the same time. Release when the apple screen comes on, and wait for restart. Hope it helps.

This is interesting because my DH's iPad updated a few days ago and he wasn't able to get on the internet. He tried reconnecting several times. I tried switching off, etc. no good.
I then compared the settings to mine and found the update has altered some of them. Once I fixed that it was okay.
I haven't updated mine yet. Updates shouldn't cause these problems.

My ipad is acting up also. Keeps knocking me off the internet. I though there was something wrong with my router but maybe it's something to do with an update.
Yesterday was awful.
