Computer would not turn back on

Went on vacation, turned off computer. Came home, computer would not turn back on for 2 days. On a whim I tried to turn computer back on... It works perfectly.

Just wondering if anyone might know why computer acted this way.

Windows 7. Computer 5 years old. No special brand.
