Computer virus originating from EMail service or FB?

Its sending out fake emails to ALL of my contacts. So, some entity "invaded" my hotmail contact list.

Any suggestions? I did check off each box, clicked on tab to classify as "Phishing scheme", then deleted the messages. Since doing this, I have received no more messages.

Any other suggestions?
