My son(older) loves to play Bejeweled and all the games in that line plus he has been playing all the free ones that HP offers without having to purchase them. He doesn't go online to play.
I would like to get him a CD game or two for Christmas but no idea what to get or where to get them so, if you have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it, thanks

Isn't there one that he's asked for? I would never get a child (especially an older child) a game that they hadn't asked for. It's too hit or miss.

no, he bought me a CD of Bejeweled 3 deluxe for my birthday last year which I like to play on the computer especially when I can't sleep and he found out he too enjoys it. I have it now on my desk top so he just clicks onto it to play. He doesn't go to Facebook and only has a cheapie flip cell phone.
I have no idea where he bought my CD of Bejeweled 3 deluxe but I just had to put it in the tower, download it and save to desktop( so I don't have to put the disk in all the time) and click onto it from there when I want to play and he put the disk on his lap top desk top to do the same if he doesn't use my computer which is the big regular desk top model with the tower, HP.

Walmart use to have Big Fish games on CD. I haven't looked for any software at Walmart since I switched to Apple devices so I can't say if they still do. Big Fish Games is game site I use for my hidden object games or match 3 which is what Bejeweled is. Check it out.

Try going to Game Stop if there's one near you. Not sure if they sell games on CD but they have a huge selection of everything else including used games.

We have a windows 7 desk top that we are setting up for k and 3rd grade girls. Yes they have hand held devices but schools use both. We just searched for PC games and programs for this age and found lots of options in CD form. Can go to Microsoft store too.
