Chromecast Users, Netflix and Amazon

Does anyone have a Chromecast?

 

I am suddenly having a problem casting from Amazon and Netflix from my laptop .   I keep getting a message saying "device not found".

 

I can cast from Netflix from my iPhone though.  (not Amazon because they are not compatible)

 

No trouble with Youtube on either device.

 

I have done all the troubleshooting ideas and I ended up hangng up with Chromecast support after a half hour of having trouble understanding the person on the other end due to a language barrier.

 

Any ideas?l

What have you tried to do?  It's a lot easier to troubleshoot and not waste time if we know what's been tried and didn't work.  The fact you can stream using other computers means the Chromecast device is working.
