Changing my e-mail address

The time has come for me to get a separate e-mail address. Currently, we share one, but I'm the one who uses it most. DH has always used his work one as his primary e-mail, but lately I spend a lot of time forwarding e-mails to him there. So I think I'm going to get my own. The thing is - ALL of our e-mail accounts come through this one, and I would have to notify everyone at work, businesses we deal with, and friends. We have Yahoo! and are really happy with it. Any advice as to how to do this? TIA!
