Have ipad air 2. Just today i cant delete app.  Have ios 9.3.1.  App wiggles, i touch "x" and it doesnt delete.  Happening to anyone else?

I keep refusing  the new download my Ipad air 2, my new computer has not worked as well since installing it.

I'm pretty sure that the factory installed apps cannot be deleted. What you can do is move them onto a screen that you seldom use. They're less annoying if you don't have to look at them all the time.

No, not a factory installed app.

When I have trouble with my iPad or iPhone with things like that, I completely power off, then power back on. If you haven't tried that, you might see if that will help. It always does for me. Merely turning it off and on doesn't work, but using the power off/on steps seems to clear things for my devices.

@World Traveler Thank you so much!  I had not thought to do that and it worked.  Guess after i updated things were a little off kilter.  This is such a helpful forum.

I know the problem was solved but I was told to reboot/refresh occassionally by holding down the home button (circle) and the power button together until the apple comes back on and then let it do it's thing.
