@Nuttmeg    As a Samsung expert, I have a question for you.  Some time ago, my Samsung tablet and TracFone got out of email sync.  I no longer get any emails on my phone, although everything is fine on my tablet.  Any idea how I'd fix this?

@Kachina624

Please update all of your apps on your two devices.

In the settings, check the app that is running your email and make sure the settings(permissions) are the same.

This maybe the problem.

Do a  search and see if there maybe a problem with email app like Gmail and Android 10 or 11.

Most email programs give you the option to sync or not. I suspect your program (Gmail, Outlook, whatever) has the sync option turned off. In Gmail you click on the hamburger in the "Search in mail" box at the top left then click on Settings, then on the email address you want to sync then pan down (way down) to Data Usage and there should be a "Sync Gmail" option with a blue checkmark. No blue checkmark means you're not synced.

It works similarly with most email programs. Somewhere in the settings is an option to sync that's likely unchecked on your phone. Giving it a check should allow it to sync. If you don't have enough available memory on the phone, it might stop syncing also. If there's no place to put the mail, it won't sync it.

Check to be sure you're using the same password on both devices for the email also. If all else fails, clear the email data on the phone and start over again.

While we are on th e-mail topic, I wish I knew what setting I changed on my Mac which no longer marks e-mail read on all of my devices.  I swear, it's either feast or famine when it comes to Apple.  I read all of my new mail on my Mac and it use to mark the "read" onall of my other devices.  Now, it doesn't.  Right now, my phone shows I have 112 unread e-mails.  I don't read e-mail on my phone ever because the screen is too small.  If someone can tell me to the correct the setting, I'd be so grateful.
