Hi yock,

Thank you for this information. I remember Bobbye very well. Here nic on the electronics board was "Nannybear". I used to e-mail her regularly and then at some point I was no longer receiving any replies to them. Was really hoping it was not because of her health, but it just may have been the reason. Communicated with her long after she quit posting under "Nannybear".

I know she had some serious health issues over the years when I was communicating with her and even when I first met her on the Electronics Forum. Can't say we hit if off well the first few times I started posting on the old Bulletin Board, but eventually we became very good cyber friends.

Am very sorry to hear of her death and my condolences go out to her family and all those that knew and loved her. She was very knowledgeable when it came to computers and I learned quite a few things from her.

Rest in Peace Bobbye you will be missed by this cyber-friend.

I LOVED NannyBear - she was so helpful to so many of us and while she could be tough, it never bothered me at all. I too had corresponded with her for quite some time and then nothing in return. Have asked around from time to time but no one knew anything although I believe I do recall a few years back that someone said she was ill. I had seen pictures of her and yes, she was quite beautiful !!!!! She was one of the former treasures we use to have here.

Definitely remember NannyBear (Bobbye). She was my computer guru lady in shining armor back on Shop Talk when I first started my ""tech life"". I have a binder full of her helpful ideas. I learned a lot from her.

Condolences to her family and friends.
