Best e reader to get for audio books

I am in the market for an e reader to use for primarily audio books to listen to while traveling and commuting to work. I want to also occasionally download a book and some magazines. I am looking hard at the new Color Nook. Please give me your recommendations for downloading books. I don't think I want to download to my computer first then to the device. Doesn't that take up a lot of space on your computer?

Any comments, pleaseeeeee. I'm lost.
