I know that BOSE on rare occasion comes to QVC. I typically don't follow these presentations as my SoundTouch Mini from years ago still works great

At least it did until this AM. I can tell that it's going to not be working so great for very long.

Im hoping that BOSE does another TSV, or at least have a great sale as we approach the holiday season.

That said, as I looked the BOSE site, they like so many electronics are charged thru USB ports.

Hoping that I will be able to find something that, fine, sure, I can charge thru USB, but also can simply remain plugged in.

I hate having to be charge and recharge electronics

Just a vent

A portable speaker runs on a battery and needs recharging but NOT left plugged in.  And yes, the battery eventually fails.  Once I looked into replacing one and it does not happen.

If you want a plugged in one then it is a different product.

I too fuss about recharging ☹️

I have a Bose from years ago.  It's the large CD player, with FM/AM and alarm clock.

It stopped playing CD's about a year ago.  It attempts to play, but then static.  I've cleaned the inside with CD cleaner, but no help.

I absolutely loved the sound quality of my CD's.

I'm just using it as an alarm clock at this point, but want to get something else since it takes up quite a bit of room on my nightstand.

Not maybe for OP but for her or others looking for speakers, we have a couple of those little JBL Go4 speakers and they are great for the price--$40 to $50 on Amazon.

They have great sound for their size, run all day on a charge, are tiny and portable, great color choice, and good for indoor, outdoor, or to carry with you.  Easy to charge, easy to Bluetooth too!

We had an under the cabinet Bose radio with CD player that we bought from QVC several years ago.  At the time, it was expensive.  A couple of months ago it up and died.  No explanation why.  Unwilling to spend a lot again because we have other priorities, I found an off brand replacement on the Home Depot website for under $50 and it works great.

I had and loved a fairly expensive Bose Radio/CD player..... until the CD player stopped working and Bose said that it could not be repaired (at any price or at any place). Turns out that I was one of many, many disappointed Bose CD player owners back then. I would never buy another Bose product.

I went through what you did too.  I also had the 5 cd exchanger which stopped working after a few years.  They no longer make these at all so no longer make repairs.  I will never buy another BOSE product.  Overrated.  For the original cost they should have lasted  much longer than they did.
