BEST WIRELESS MODEM?

I have Netgear wireless modem, and constantly have to reset it. We have only had this about 2 months. I had Linksys before and it lasted 6 years with no problem. I would appreciate any information as to what wireless modem to get that actually works. We have a very large home (2 stories), and have a computer upstairs and one downstairs. I don't know if that makes a difference, but I really need some information as to which modem to get. Thanks to anyone that can help. Terra
