Attn: BellaHS (regarding facebook)

Hello...so sorry to get back to you late in response to your inquiry from yesterday's facebook thread. You asked about using facebook as a tool to make your own newspaper. To do this, do a search (located on the top of page) for something that interest you. For example, I have an interest in agriculture so if I were to search for agriculture and the name of my state, I would find the local chapter of agricultural resources for state. I would go to that page and if I like it...press the 'like' button so I can view thier messages on my newsreel. I would also check that particular page forthier own 'likes' to see if there are any other agricultural organizations unknown to me and I would check those out also.

If you don't like a page for whatever reason, maybe they post too much or the information isn't useful, just go their page and find the unlike button to remove. If you like the page but you don't want to read thier posts, click on the pencil icon next to the most current post they made, and use options to hide post.

I also participate in a small number of special interest groups that operate like private forums. My 'friends' can see that I have posted into a group but they cannot see the content of my message. I get a lot of enjoyment form socializing in these groups and they are very supportive, sometimes even more than my real friends.

People who are negative about facebook are not taking the time to use it often enough. You have to play with it quite a while and learn what it can do for you.

Hope this helps some.
